C. Spencer Powell, MAI, AI-GRS
Spence has been an independent real estate consultant and appraiser since 1971. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a BBA majoring in Real Estate and Urban Economics.
He was the 1983 President of the Oregon Chapter No. 14 of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers and the 1996 National President of the Appraisal Institute. He was an organizer and past Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Salem, Bank of Tigard, and Bank of Portland. He was a member of the boards of directors of American Home Savings, Deepwood Historic Estate, United Methodist Retirement Center and the City of Salem Downtown Development Board. He served as the President of the Salem Economic Development Board and the Salem Chapter of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers.
Spence concentrates his practice in Real Estate Consultation. He also remains active in Litigation Support, Development Support, Arbitrations, Tax appeals, Estate Planning and Commercial Real Estate Financing Options throughout Oregon, Washington and Northern California.
Spence spends his free time enjoying traveling, golf and working at his vacation home in Neskowin on the Oregon coast. He and his wife Linda, have four Children, four Grandchildren, and a mini Labradoodle, Coco Chanel.
