Tyson Giza

APPRAISER ASSISTANT

Tyson Giza is an appraiser assistant with Powell Banz Valuation, LLC. He was born and raised in Salem and graduated from Willamette University in 2013 with a BA in Economics.

He has been a member of the PBV team since May 2017 and assisted in a variety of commercial valuation assignments throughout the state of Oregon with experience across a broad spectrum of properties types including office, retail, industrial, multifamily, mixed use, special purpose (bowling alleys, aircraft hangars, cranberry bog, churches, schools, senior centers, etc.) and bare development land. He’s called Salem home for his entire life (except for a two-year stint after college in Germany) and holds a strong understanding of value trends in the local market and surrounding Willamette Valley areas.

Out of the office he serves as a member of Salem’s Downtown Advisory Board, is a major sports fan, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Tyson is currently pursuing the necessary education and experience requirements to become a State of Oregon Certified General Appraiser.
